Supporting the needs of the Brookhaven Animals
Second Loves mission is to provide financial assistance to the shelter and the Brookhaven township area where it relates to helping animals in need. Second Loves financially supports and assists in the daily care, rehabilitation, and adoption of animals, with the intent of providing a better quality of life for them.
In addition, Second Loves also aims to provide the funding of spay, neuter and TNR programs to reduce the unwanted pet and feral cat population, in effect decreasing the large number of homeless animals at the Brookhaven Shelter.
About Us
Founded in 2013, we are a group of shelter volunteers who after pooling together many times for training, foster, medical, transport and various other costs not covered by shelter funding we decided to begin a non-profit to support the pets within the community that have these needs. We are not a rescue, our mission is to work in conjunction with the shelter and local rescues to financially support homeless animals in need within the community.
